LG has launched a new gaming monitor under its UltraGear series. Recall that the UltraGear was announced alongside the UltraWide and UltraFine Ergo displays at CES 2020. The device comes with the model number “34GP83-A”. The monitor is similar to the LG 27GN950-B launched in July in that it features a curved Nano IPS panel with fast response times, G-Sync compatibility, and a high refresh rate delivering “the latest hardware, specs, ergonomics, sleek design and sensory experience” needed to complete your gaming setup.LG UltraGear

The gaming monitor packs a 34-inch ultrawide, curved Nano IPS panel with a  resolution of 3440×1440 pixel, 1ms G2G response time, a 144Hz refresh rate. This monitor alsocomes with 178º (R/L), 178º (U/D) wide viewing angles. This 10-bit panel has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 400nits of brightness, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. Further, the LG 34PG83-A UltraGear monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400, allowing the monitor to playback HDR content for an enhanced viewing experience. It also features Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync (Premium) allowing users to enjoy gaming sessions without stutter and tearing. Other gaming-oriented features include Dynamic Action Sync, to reduce input lag, Black Stabilizer, to improve clarity in darker areas, and a crosshair overlay, to elevate you aiming to the next level, are included.
