OnePlus is known for releasing OxygenOS builds in three different channels namely Closed Beta, Open Beta, and Stable. The latter two can be downloaded and installed by anyone but the former requires special access and the number of seats are limited. That said, after two months from its launch, OnePlus has finally announced the Closed Beta program for OnePlus Nord.

OnePlus Nord OxygenOS Closed Beta Recruitment

OnePlus Nord is the most hyped smartphone of 2020 for no apparent reason except for good marketing. It is just another random mid-range 5G handset with OnePlus branding. The software on this device is filled with bugs and therefore, the company has been seeding new builds since its release.

In fact, the software on OnePlus Nord is so terrible that some users are facing an automatic factory reset bug. Thankfully, the brand has now started recruiting OxygenOS Closed Beta testers for this phone. Under this program, we expect the company to work closely with the limited 200 users to fix all the issues.

Earlier this year, the Chinese smartphone maker reduced the frequency of OxygenOS releases. As per that, it will only release 2 Closed Beta builds for the OnePlus Nord and not 4 as it used to before the OnePlus 8 series.

Nevertheless, it’s better than nothing. We hope the brand to soon squash all the irritating bugs on the Nord.
