With the Huawei Mate 40 series launch being just around the corner, various reports and rumors have surfaced online. While we had previously covered information regarding a mid October announcement and sales starting from November, new reports have revealed that the first batch of the series will go on sale by late October.

According to a PCOnline report, the first batch of Huawei Mate 40 series would be available by late October. This includes the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Special Edition. The Chinese tech giant’s latest flagship is expected to arrive with the new 5nm process based Kirin 9000 chipset, which is expected to bring great improvements in both GPU and CPU performance over the previous gen’s Kirin 990 5G. Notably, the base Mate 40 variant is expected to feature the 7nm based Kirin 9000E processor.

The upcoming lineup is also expected to run on the latest EMUI 11 custom skin based on the Android 10 operating system. Additionally, it is also likely to arrive with support for various features that the company may offer. Unfortunately, this is still an unconfirmed report, so take it with a pinch of salt for now and we will have to wait for an official launch date announcement from the company itself.
