Update: OnePlus has also shared sample photos taken with the ultrawide angle camera. They have been added below.

Original Story:

The launch of the OnePlus 8T is a week away and with each passing day, OnePlus shares one info of the upcoming flagship. Today, it posted a picture taken with the phone in Nightscape mode.

The picture shows what the OnePlus 8T’s 48MP primary camera is capable of. There is a high level of detail but as you can see, it was taken at sunset. It has been reported that OnePlus will ship the phone with a 48MP primary camera. In addition to the main sensor, its wide-angle camera will also be able to shoot in night mode. The ultrawide angle camera is said to be a 16MP sensor, unlike that of the OnePlus 8 Pro which is a 48MP camera.

OnePlus also posted sample photos (below) taken with the ultrawide angle camera of the OnePlus 8T. However, there is a color inconsistency in all three images.

We expect OnePlus to announce new camera features at the launch event next week. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the phone will have a selfie camera with an ultrawide angle lens.

The OnePlus 8T launches on October 14 in India and on October 15 in China. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor, have a flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole punch for the selfie camera. OnePlus has also revealed that the phone will have a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W War Charge and will run OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.
