DxOMark Image Labs (DxOMark) is best known as a review lab for the camera and audio performance of smartphones. Today, it announced that it has a special event coming up later this month and we are curious to know what it is for.
According to the tweet posted by the official account, the event which is tagged “DXOMARK FOCUS” will hold on October 20 at 5:00 PM CET. The tweet says the event is going to be big but doesn’t give any hint on what to expect. The link attached to the tweet takes you to the YouTube live-stream page.

Is it a product launch? Probably. A few years ago, DxOMark was a part of the French company, DxO Labs before becoming an independent and privately-owned company. Back then, DxO Labs launched a camera accessory called DxO One that attaches to iPhones and iPad via the lightning connector. Will next week’s event be for the launch of the DxO Two? We will have to wait until next week to find out.
