Anker has launched the PowerHouse II 400. The device is a multi-functional portable power station that can charge a wide range of AC/DC compliant devices ranging from smartphones, tablets, to drilling machine. The product will open for presale in China on October 21 for 2599 yuan but outside China, it carries a price tag of $359.99 and is available on Amazon.
The Anker PowerHouse II 400 portable power station has a capacity of 388Wh and a total power of 500W+. It is equipped with several interfaces which include AC/DC interface, car charger (cigarette lighter port, USB-A, and USB-C port. The USB-C port has a maximum output of 60W.
According to Anker, the electric power station can charge the MacBook Air 2020 to 50% in 40 minutes. In addition, the AC port can be used directly to power rice cookers, electric kettles, projectors, refrigerators and other devices. It is said to output sine wave current, which is stable and continuous.
Anker mobile battery charger has four self-charging modes, wall charging, car charging, and solar charging. Wall charging takes 6.5 hours, USB-C charging takes 7.5 hours, and solar charging takes 7 hours. The solar charging panel needs to be purchased separately.
