While reports have been claiming that the Redmi K30S will go official soon in China, Redmi is still mum on its arrival. A couple of leaks that have appeared on Weibo today states that the Redmi K30S is all set to go official on Oct. 27.

The posters that have emerged on Weibo confirm the Redmi K30S moniker. Also, it is clear from the images that it is a rebadged version of the Xiaomi MI 10T that went official in global markets in September. The posters show that the Redmi K30S’ key features include the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, a display that supports 144Hz refresh rate, and a massive 5,000mAh battery.

Redmi K30S specifications

The TENAA listing of the Redmi K30S has revealed that its specifications are identical to the MI 10T phone. The Redmi K30S has a punch-hole display of 6.67 inches. The IPS LCD offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The handset is preinstalled with MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The SD865 chipset is accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM. The phone is expected to land in China with up to 512 GB of storage. It does not feature a microSD card slot.

For capturing selfies, it has a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The backside of the phone has a 64-megapixel primary shooter, a superwide lens of 13-megapixel, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. The posters reveal that it will be available in silver and black color variants.
