Xiaomi has launched the 8H Milan Smart Electric Bed Pro under the Youpin crowdfunding platform. The smart bed is a direct successor to the 8H Milan smart electric bed which was launched under crowdfunding in December 2019, priced at 1999 yuan (~$300). The 8H Milan Smart Electric Bed Pro carries a crowdfunding price of 4899 yuan ($735) and is expected to start shipping before December 1.
The original 8H Milan smart electric bed features support for five (5) kinds of comfort modes, intelligent voice control, and other functions. The new Pro version brings an upgrade in the aspect of the motor which moves from dual motors to quad motors. The smart bed is also equipped with dual-zone lifting, strong power, slow rise, and slow fall. It also features several functions aim at enhancing your sleep.
The 8H Milan Pro bundles a rigid spring mattress and equally supports intelligent voice control. Design-wise, it also features a high leg design and an innovative spring mattress made of solid materials that match the sleeping habits of users. The mattress comes with different support for different parts of the body, exerting the right pressure in different places. 
Further, the 8H Milan Smart Electric Bed Pro comes with support for three smart control modes. It can be controlled via remote control, the MIJIA app and through the XiaoAI voice assistant using voice prompts. The mattress supports reading mode, snoring mode, flat-lying mode, zero-gravity mode, and TV mode
