Vivo’s budget smartphone, Vivo Y91i from 2019 has received a price cut in India. The price cut comes almost eight months after a 3GB RAM variant launch in the country. The device now starts as low as ₹7,490($100) on its official website, and e-commerce sites.
The price cut(via Gadgets360) is about ₹500($6.71) from the old price. Besides, it looks like the price cut is for all the models as Vivo’s official website lists everything for ₹500 less. This is because the device debuted way back in 2019 at a starting price of ₹7,990($107) for the base 2GB/16GB variant.

That said, the device comes in three variants- 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage, and 3GB RAM, 32GB storage. It is available for purchase on Vivo’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart. You can see the current prices of Vivo Y91i models below:

Being a Smartphone from 2019, Vivo Y91i certainly has less features for 2020. However, at the price, it can get the job done if you use it casually. It comes in Ocean Blue and Fusion Black color options. Vivo initially debuted the 2GB RAM variant but brought the higher 3GB RAM exactly a year later this year. There is a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 1520×720 pixel resolution. It has a waterdrop notch and is protected by 2.5D glass.
Under the hood, we have MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. For optics, there is a single rear 13 MP sensor with a single LED flash and the front has a 5MP selfie shooter. Other features include a 4,030mAh battery, 4G, Wi-FI(2.4GHz), FM Radio, GPS, MicroSD slot, Bluetooth 5.0, and face-unlock albeit lacking a fingerprint sensor. As per the official website, it runs Funtouch OS based on Android 8.1(Oreo)
