In September, Realme announced the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro smartphones in India. The Realme 7i was made official in Indonesia in the same month. A new handset with model number Realme RMX2111 has received approval from the NBTC authority of Thailand. The listing confirms that the device will be arriving in the country as the Realme 7 5G. Unlike the other phones in the series, it will be the first one to arrive with support for 5G connectivity.

The Realme RMX2111 model number belongs to the Realme V5 5G smartphone that debuted in August in China. Hence, the NBTC certification of the RMX2111 suggests that the Realme V5 5G will be rebadged as the Realme 7 5G.

Realme 7 5G specifications

The NBTC certification has no information on the specs of the Realme 7 5G. Being a rebadged phone, it is likely to borrow all its specs from the Realme V5 5G. Hence, the Realme 7 5G is expected to arrive with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It may support a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The phone could be sporting a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The rear side of the phone may feature a quad-camera setup that may include a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel superwide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It may come preloaded with Android 10 OS.

In China, the Realme V5 5G arrived in two options such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. They were priced at 1,499 Yuan (~$227) and 1,899 Yuan (~$288).
