Recent reports have revealed that the Redmi Note 9 5G has a model number of M2007J22C in China and its global edition has an M2007J22G model number. The global variant has received certifications from IMDA and EEC authorities. The Redmi Note 9 5G Pro has an M2007J17C mode number. It is a tweaked version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. Today, the global edition of the Note 9 5G received approval from the FCC authority. The FCC documents have revealed few details of the Redmi Note 9T such as MIUI 12, 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth. No other specs of the device are mention in the FCC listing. It is likely to be packed with the specs that are available on its Chinese variant.

The tipster revealed that the Redmi Note 9T IMEI number has already been registered with C-DOT CEIR IMEI verification, which indicates that it may also debut in India.  It is already known that the device is powered by the Dimensity 800U chipset. Since Dimensity powered phones are expected to land in India in 2021, it appears the Redmi Note 9T may debut in the country next year.
