The Beats Flex is a pretty nice and affordable pair of neckband earphones. However, if you want something that offers more style, and one that will surely get you noticed, particularly at night, then the glow-in-the-dark Powerbeats is for you.
The special pair of Powerbeats earphones was announced in partnership with Ambush, a Tokyo-based fashion design house. You can see Ambush’s logo along with Beats’ on the earbuds. Yoon Ahn, the co-founder of Ambush says she was inspired by how Tokyo glows at night time.
The glowing earphones can come in handy when you are outdoors at night having fun, on a night run, or cycling.
Other than the fact that it glows in the dark, this has the same features as the standard Powerbeats that launched earlier this year. You can read our review to know if it is worth picking up.
Unlike the standard version which comes in Black, Red, and White and has a price tag of $150, the glow-in-the-dark variant will sell for $199.95 when it goes on sale starting today, November 18. It will be available for purchase on the Apple online store.
