Earlier this week, tipster Mukul Sharma who is better known as @stufflistings on social platforms hinted at the arrival of a new Moto G phone in India. A newer tweet by him reveals that India will be receiving two news phones namely, the Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power, which debuted in the European markets earlier this month.

The tipster did not share any other information about the upcoming Motorola G-series phones for India. In Europe, the Moto G9 Power with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage arrived with a price tag of 199 euros (~Rs 17,450). On the other side, the Moto G 5G’s two variants like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage landed in Europe with respective price tags of 299 euros (~$354; ~Rs 26,200) and 349 euros (~$413; ~Rs 30,600).

At present, the Snapdragon 765G powered OnePlus Nord 5G with a starting price of Rs 24,999 (~$338) is the cheapest 5G phone available in India. The upcoming Moto G 5G is packed with decent specs to rival the OnePlus Nord. The Moto G 5G is packed with specs like an FHD+ 6.7.-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display, Snapdragon 750G processor, 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad rear cameras, a 16-megapixel camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
