In July, OPPO announced the OPPO A72 5G smartphone (PECM10 / PECT10) in China. The Dimensity 720 powered phone arrived in the Chinese market with a price tag of 1,899 Yuan (~$288). A variant of the same phone with model number PECM30 / PECT30 was spotted at the TENAA certification platform last month along with the PERM00 smartphone. While the PERM00 phone debuted in the home market as the OPPO K7x at the beginning of this month, it is unclear with what moniker the PECM30 / PECT30 phone will go official. A Geekbench listing of the device has appeared to reveal its performance.

On Geekbench 5, the PECM30 phone scored 512 in the single-core test and 1658 in the multi-core test. The handset is fueled by the MediaTek MT6853 chipset i.e. the Dimensity 720 SoC. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and the device is preloaded with Android OS.
