Redmi will be unleashing the three Redmi Note 9 series smartphones on Thursday. The Redmi Note 7 was the first phone to feature Samsung GM1 48-megpaixel camera and its successor i.e. the Redmi Note 8 arrived as the first phone with Samsung GW1 64-megapixel camera. Yesterday evening, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has hinted that the Redmi Note 9 series will be equipped with a camera that has been never seen on any other phone. Leaks have claimed that the Redmi Note 9 series will be flaunting a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 lens. He also shared an official render of the phone to showcase the exquisite rear design of the Note 9 Pro 5G.

Multiple rears have revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite will be rebranded as the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China. Both phones only differ in the primary camera department. The Mi 10T Lite has a 64-megapixel main camera in its quad-camera system, whereas the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G’s quad-camera setup will be led by a 108-megapixel camera.

The official render of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G resembles the Rose Gold Bleach color variant of the Mi 10T Lite. As can be seen in the render, it has a turquoise color at the top, which blends with peach color at the bottom. The rear shell of the phone is made out of AG (anti-glare) with a matte finish.
