OnePlus launched the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro as its flagships smartphones for the first half of 2019. The handsets debuted with Android Pie (OxygenOS 9) and were later updated to Android 10 (OxygenOS 10). They are also expected to get Android 11 (OxygenOS 11) next month. Ahead of it, the duo is receiving a new system update with November 2020 security patch.

The OnePlus 7 got two stable updates and a single Open Beta update last month. However, none of the stable builds bring October 2020 security patch. But now, with the new stable build that has been released in late November, the security patch level has been promoted directly from September 2020 to November 2020.

That’s not all, the GMS (Google Mobile Services) package has also been updated to October 2020. Apart from these two changes, the latest build also optimizes the status bar in the call scene to reduce mistouches and fixes a small probability flashback issue with the Phone app.

The new update comes with build number OxygenOS 10.3.7 for the Indian and Global versions of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. On the other hand, the same update bears the build number OxygenOS 10.0.10 for the European (EU) variant of these smartphones.
