China-based ZTE has launched its first Wi-Fi 6 set-top box — ZTE ZXV10 B860AV6 in its home country. Thanks to the built-in support for the Wi-Fi 6 technology, it offers high-speed internet access along with high stability and low latency.

Additionally, it also comes with support for Wi-Fi 6 Transmission QoS solution as well as the Smart Networking Solution for the whole house. The device aims to offer a clear and smooth viewing experience to the users.

The ZTE set-top box comes in a black-colored square-shaped box with sharp corners. On the top, there’s ZTE branding. The company has also shared that the device also won the 2019 iF Design Award.

The development comes soon after the company announced the launch of the industry’s first 5G converged set-top box. It offers a three-in-one design that offers a gigabit gateway, router, and set-top box.

For those who are unaware, the Wi-Fi 6 or 802.11ax is a new generation or the sixth generation of wireless LAN standard. It has certain advantages, including high bandwidth, low latency, and multiple access. With the technology being used in this set-top box from ZTE, it offers ultra-high-definition video, zero lag games, and ultra-rich applications for a new user experience.
