The Nest Hub which originally launched as the Google Home Hub in 2018 can now be purchased from the official Google Store and on eBay for just $49.99, a discount of $40 off its current price and one-third of its launch price of $149.
The smart display has a 7-inch touchscreen that not only displays your routine but will also provide virtual answers to your Google Assistant queries, unlike a smart speaker which lacks a display. What’s more, it also has YouTube, so you can watch the steps to take for that new recipe you want to try out. It also has support for Netflix, a feature that wasn’t originally available at launch.
When not answering your questions or serving as a hub that allows you to control your other smart home devices, the Nest Hub can serve as a digital photo frame that shows the best of your memories from Google Photos.
At $49.99, the Nest Hub seems like a no-brainer. We will also recommend it over the Lenovo Smart Clock which is currently discounted to $34.99 but has a smaller 4-inch screen and doesn’t support Netflix.
