This year, TCL introduced a couple of smartphones such as TCL 10 Pro, TCL 10L, TCL 10 Plus, TCL 10 SE, TCL 10 5G, and TCL 10 5G UW under the TCL 10 branding. Reliable tipster Evan Blass has shared renders of the upcoming TCL 20 5G smartphone. The leak also carries the key specs of the phone.

The TCL 20 5G moniker suggests that it could be a successor to the TCL 10 5G. However, its T781 model number and specifications indicate that it may be a follow-up device for the TCL Plex that went official last year.

The leak states that the TCL 20 5G has a 6.67-inch display with a top-center aligned hole-punch. The screen supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel.

The backside of the phone features a vertical camera unit that includes a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

The Snapdragon 690 5G chipset is present under the hood of the TCL 20 5G. The SoC is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. The device will be available in 128 GB and 256 GB storage editions.

The TCL 20 5G draws power from a 4,500mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button. The handset is equipped with a microSD card slot, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated Google Assistant button around its edges.

Blass revealed that the TCL 20 5G will go official early next year. Probably, the device may get showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021 in January There is no word on the pricing of the device.
