While the specifications and images of the Tecno Pova smartphone were revealed last month, it was made official yesterday. A landing page for the Tecno Pova has appeared on Flipkart, an Indian retailer site. The listing confirms that the smartphone will be announced in India on Dec. 4. Except for Tecno Pova’s price in India, all the details on its specifications are already known since it has already gone official in other markets such as Nigeria and the Philippines.
Tecno Pova specifications and features
The Tecno Pova comes with a massive 6.8-inch display that supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 20.5:9. It draws power from the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.
The phone comes in 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices. For additional storage, the device has a microSD card slot. The HiOS 7 based Android 10 OS comes preinstalled on the smartphone.
The Tecno Pova smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera housed in the display notch for capturing selfie shots. The rectangle-shaped camera module on its back has a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the backside of the smartphone.
The Tecno Pova has a huge battery of 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. On the connectivity front, the phone comes with features like dual SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 171.23 x 77.57 x 9.4mm and it has a textured rear.
