Xiaomi started out as a mobile phone manufacturer some ten years ago but the company has since grown beyond being a phone maker into an ecosystem with its product catalogue spreading from smart TV, smart home products, PCs, e-scooters, surveillance camera and several others. If we are to add the ecological chain companies, then the products are even more dazzling and overwhelming. 
Although most of the products are not easy to come by outside China, they are readily available in the brand’s home country. That must have been the driving force behind the action of a fan of the Mi brand who recently walked into a store and purchased the full set of Mi products on display. The video showing the transaction slip was posted on Douyin and indeed, that is one long slip. The receipt shows that the fan purchased a total of 690,000 yuan (~$104,880). It was noticed that the buyer did not use coupons and red envelopes to purchase products.
It is common to see buyers picking up a set of Apple products but for Xiaomi, this is an uncommon feat. Xiaomi even has a wider array of products than Apple and so, a fan who walks into any Mi store will have a tough choice deciding the ones he would like to have. A lover of the Mi brand products would prefer to have all the products on display and that is perhaps what played out here. (via)
