Xiaomi has been beta testing Android 11 on a number of its smartphones. A few days ago, the Redmi Note 9 Pro aka Redmi Note 9S became the first Xiaomi phone in India to receive the stable Android 11 update. Now, the company’s 2020 flagship smartphone Mi 10 has also begun to get the same update.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 was part of the Android 11 Beta program was also one of the first to get MIUI 12 beta builds based on Android 11. However, the world’s third-largest smartphone maker has started rolling out Android 11 update to its current-gen flagship smartphone only now in India.

This update comes with build number V12.2.2.0.RJBINXM and is currently in the Stable Beta phase. That means it is only available for select users in the country. If the early adopters face no major issue, the company will be extending the update’s availability to more users. If not, a new build with fixes will be released and it will go through the same process.

In other words, we can expect the complete rollout to happen by the end of December. Talking about other regions, Xiaomi has already finished rolling out Android 11 stable to all the units of Mi 10 in China. On the other hand, the build for global and EEA variants of the phone is still in Stable Beta phased just like the Indian version.
