Taiwanese memory and storage manufacturer ADATA Technology has officially entered the green energy logistics market. The company has launched its first commercial electric tricycle specially designed for the logistics industry under the brand “Visodon”.

The electric tricycle comes with a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The tricycle also has a maximum range of 100 kilometers on a single battery charge. It can easily reverse with one key and can even a U-turn on a 2.5-meter-wide lane. It is convenient for delivery personnel to quickly shuttle in busy, metropolis while carrying more load.

The core electric motor and controller system of the Visodon electric tricycle are all independently developed and manufactured by ADATA. It is also equipped with ADATA’s self-developed AI intelligent system, it supports safe monitoring of vehicle status, effective control of vehicle location, route planning, management, and delivery of objects.Adata Electric Tricycle

Its main product lines include memory modules, U disks/memory cards, solid-state drives and mobile hard drives, Gaming peripheral products, and industrial solutions.

This year, the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the rapid growth of global logistics demand. This has prompted the company to accelerate the pace of launching electric tricycles to solve the problems of efficient transportation in the logistics industry while ensuring the safety of personnel in the distribution chain.

ADATA chairman Chen Libai is reported to have hinted that the company had invested in the research and development of electric vehicles since 5 years ago. He also expressed optimism that electric vehicles with “zero-emission, low noise, and safety” will become the future global development trend.
