The OPPO F17 Pro was the company’s star product for the Diwali festive season in India. In fact, the brand debuted it in the country two months ahead of the festival to boost its popularity and sales. Now, three months later, the smartphone received its first price cut in the country.
The OPPO F17 Pro launched in India in early September priced at ₹22,990 for the sole 8GB and 128GB variant. Now, with the ₹1,500 price drop, it can be purchased for ₹21,490 from popular online as well as offline retailers. This piece of information comes from the sources of 91Mobiles.
At this new price, the OPPO F17 Pro will go head to head against the Moto G 5G (₹20,99), which is India’s most affordable 5G smartphone yet. Anyway, since India does not have 5G networks, the former phone could be termed as the better option over the latter as it comes with a finer set of specifications.
Some of the notable specs of the OPPO F17 Pro include a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with up to 800 nits of peak brightness, MediaTek helio P95 chipset, 4,015mAh battery with support for VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 (30W) fast charging, 7.48mm thickness, and ColorOS 11 based on Android 11.
