The OPPO Reno3 4G and Reno3 Pro 4G loth launched in March of this year with ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. The two phones are powered by MediaTek’s Helio P90 and Helio P95 processors respectively and are sold in several countries. According to the official ColorOS global account, these two phones will receive the ColorOS 11 update which is based on Android 11 this week.

The updates will begin to roll out from Saturday, December 12 in the following countries: Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Nigeria, Egypt, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Algeria, Tunisia, Kenya, and Singapore. Owners of the Reno3 4G in Russia and Kazakhstan will have to wait until December 30 before they get the update.

ColorOS 11 Reno3 and Reno3 Pro 4G

The poster also reveals that the ColorOS 11 update will be available for the Reno4 5G in Australia starting December 16 while the OPPO A72 will get the update on the same day in Kazakhstan.

Starting 24th of December, Reno4 4G and Reno4 Pro 4G users in Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan, and India will get the update while Reno4 Pro 4G users in Kazakhstan will begin to receive the update on December 29.

With the new update, users get more customization options that cover icons, wallpapers, ringtones, and Always-on Display styles (AOD). ColorOS 11 also brings new features such as optimized night charging which reduces the charging speed at night to reduce overcharging; three-finger translate which allows you to translate just a part of the screen; FlexDrop – a feature that allows you use to use an app in a floating window for better multitasking.

OPPO also plans to release the stable version of the update for users of the Find X2 Pro series, the Find X2, the Reno 4 Lite, and the Reno3 in Europe this month.
