The Android 11 update for Sony Xperia 1 II is currently limited to Taiwan. But we can expect the company to start rolling out the update in other regions by the end of this year.

That said, the build for the Taiwanese variant comes with November 2020 security despite the update has been released in December. Apart from the latest version of Android and features related to it, the new update also brings certain new phone-specific features.

Such as support for 120fps slow-motion video recording at 4K (previously it was only 60fps) in Cinema Pro app, new MR mode to set/save frequently used options in Photo Pro app, BatterCare features can now allow users to limit charging (80% or 90%), WiFi and hotspot can be turned on at the same time, new wallpapers, and 5G + 4G dual-SIM standby.

Anyway, it is worth noting that some of these features could be limited to the Taiwanese version of this Sony handset. But most of them should be available in other regions as well.
