Last month, POCO globally announced the POCO M3 smartphone just before the Black Friday shopping festival. It appears that the company may soon hold a dedicated launch event in India for the POCO M3 as its Indian edition has received TUV Rheinland certification.

The Indian edition of the POCO M3 that has a model number of M2010J19CI and its other variants such as M2010J19CG (global) and M2010J19CT have appeared in TUV’s database. China’s Redmi Note 9 4G with the model number (M2010J19SC) is also mentioned in the listing along with its other country variants.

As it is known, the POCO M3 and Redmi Note 9 4G have almost identical specs. They mainly differ in the rear camera configurations and back panel design. A few months back, POCO had launched the POCO M2 smartphone in India. With TUV certification in tow, it is likely that the POCO M3 may soon arrive in the country as its successor. It is unclear whether the POCO M3 will go official in India before the end of 2021.
