Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S21 series on January 14. Ahead of the event, a 65W Samsung charging brick has appeared online and the Galaxy S21 Ultra might support it.

As posted by Twitter users, @Chunvn888 and @diogofer777(via LetsGoDigital), a Samsung Charger appears in White Color. If you look closely, it has a model number EP-TA865. Recall, a charger with the same model number cleared Korea’s NRRA certification back in September.
The listing designated it as a Travel Adapter suggesting that could be a charging brick. Secondly, it showed Vietnam’s Solum Vina Co Ltd., as the manufacturer. Coming back, this charging brick also has both the Vietnam and Model number info confirming it’s that same charger.

The images show that the Charger has a maximum output of [email protected]= 65W. Additionally, it has a Type-C in port which means the cable you have to use is a USB-C to USB-C. The image also shows that it’s PD(Power Delivery) and PPS(Programmable Power Supply) certified.
Now, one might wonder how the Galaxy S21 Ultra let alone the entire series will support this charging tech. That’s cos early reports strongly indicate that they will support 45W charging at max. However, if we recall, an early rumor said that Samsung’s upcoming Exynos will be equipped to support charging up to 65W. And the S21 Ultra might get it as an exclusive.
Also, with Samsung excluding the chargers in the box for the S21 Series, this would be a great time to launch an exclusive fast charging adapter. Either way, we will have to wait and see if Samsung unveils this on Thursday or reserves it for the Galaxy Note 21(Tentative).
