Zhiyun is well-known for making smartphone gimbals and now, at the CES 2021, the company has launched its new Crane-2S gimbal, aimed at videographers, and can handle some of the largest pro cameras.

The company says that the product has a load capacity high enough to carry premium DSLRs and mirrorless cameras such as Canon EOS 1DX Mark II, Nikon D850, and others. To keep the weight low, it has opted for carbon fiber material to keep the design strong.

It comes with ninth-generation Instune Algorithm image stabilization and powerful motors for overall improved responsiveness. The company adds that it has been comprehensively tested to ensure reliable performance even in the most challenging environments.

The Zhiyun Crane-2S comes with a 0.96-inch OLED screen that enables users to easily navigate through the menu and swiftly switch modes. As for the battery life, it is claimed to last for around 12 hours on a single charge and has support for backup batteries.

The device is priced at $599 and is now available for purchase in the United States. The combo of gimbal, batteries, and grip cost $649 while the Zhiyun Crane-2S Pro Kit with a smartphone cradle, a stand, and other attachments is priced at $849.
