Back in October 2020, ZMI had launched its PurPods Pro TWS earphones. These earbuds featured dual ANC (active noise cancelation) and were priced at 399 Yuan (roughly 61 US Dollars). Now, the Chinese company has launched the base PurPods, which are more affordable than their high end variant but lack the noise cancelling feature. In other words, we can expect the new wireless earphones to arrive with specifications similar to the premium variant.

For those unaware, the ZMI PurPods Pro sports pressure sensitive buttons that enables different controls. The hearables also support Bluetooth 5.2, alongside wireless charging, has IPX4 waterproof rating, and also arrive with the XiaoAI voice assistant built in for voice controls. The earbuds can also last for up to 10 hours on a full charge and up to 32 hour in total along with its charging case, and even has a low latency mode for mobile gamersZMI

Furthermore, the new earbuds also use EQsmart adaptive technology that adjusts the volume according to the sound levels in the users’ surroundings. So for those looking for affordable new truly wireless earbuds, the PurPods from ZMI could also be worth considering. The earbuds will go on sale on 15th January 2021, and are available for a price of just 199 Yuan (roughly 30 US Dollars).
