The move also arrives after Apple decided to diversify its supply chain to minimize the impacts faced by straining US-China relations.
Apart from raising its workforce in the region, the Taiwanese firm is also aiming on raising its investment in the region by another 700 million US Dollars as well. The investment would again be towards its local plants in Vietnam, as per the government.
