Earlier this month, the OnePlus Nord received its first Open Beta update. That build was also the first-ever OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) public build for the handset. Now, just within a month, the company has released OxygenOS Open Beta 2 for this device with a host of fixes and optimizations.

The second public beta update for the OnePlus Nord does not bring any new features. Instead, it focuses on optimizing and fixing the issues faced by the users in the previous build.

First and foremost, the new build optimizes UI display of Calculator, position and animation of some icons in the lock screen, and WhatsApp background management to receive messages on time.

As far as fixes are concerned, the update fixes the battery icon display issue while changing the phone’s orientation, a problem with Dirac audio tuner, and unable to set alarms. Further, the build also fixes Messenger Bubbles, come camera app issues, and unable to set SIM 2 as the default bug.
