Xiaomi today confirmed that the next Redmi Note series of devices will come under Redmi Note 10 moniker. The devices will be unveiled next month i.e, March 2021 in India. Ahead of this, a new info suggests that one of them could feature an AMOLED display and a 108MP camera.

Redmi Note 9 Pro (6)

Mukul Sharma on Twitter says that the Redmi Note 10 Pro might feature an AMOLED display. For the unaware, Xiaomi is expected to launch two devices in the lineup-  Redmi Note 10 (M2101K7AG) and a Redmi Note 10 Pro (M2101K6AG). Anyway, if this happens, the ‘Pro’ variant will be the first Redmi Note smartphone to get an AMOLED display.

Xiaomi has the ‘Note’ lineup running under the Mi and Redmi branding. It has already brought devices like the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Lite all of which have AMOLED displays. However, the ‘Redmi Note’ series has so far retained the LCD panels.

Moving on, he also says that the Snapdragon 732G could power the device. Now, this is a 4G chipset and reports say that Xiaomi is also working on a 5G variant in the series. However, we don’t know which processor will be present on that just yet.

Further, the Redmi Note 10 Pro could also feature a 108MP camera. A similar leak last month said that a 4G variant is coming with an HM1 sensor. That said, since he isn’t 100% sure about these, let’s take it with a pinch of salt.

So far, we know both the devices have cleared India’s BIS certification. The Redmi Note 10 will come in come in White, Green, or Grey colors and 4/6GB RAM, 64GB storage while the Note 10 Pro will have 6/8GB RAM, 64/128GB in Bronze, Blue, and Grey options.
