Samsung will be launching the Galaxy F62 mid-range phone in India on Feb. 15. The mid-range phone is confirmed to arrive with a flagship-grade processor. Now, the updated promo page of the phone at Flipkart has revealed that it is equipped with a behemoth battery.

It is now confirmed that the Galaxy F62 will be housing a massive battery of 7,000mAh capacity. The South Korean tech giant its yet to confirm the fast-charging capabilities of the device.

Samsung is the only mainstream smartphone brand that sells 7,000mAh battery phones. The Galaxy M51 that debuted last year is the company’s first phone to feature a 7,000mAh battery. It is believed that some of the specs of the upcoming Galaxy F62 will bear a resemblance with the Galaxy M51.

So far, the rumor mill has revealed that the Galaxy F62 will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with an Infinity-O punch-hole design. It is fitted with a side-facing fingerprint reader. The phone will draw power from Exynos 9825 chipset.

The Galaxy F62 is expected to arrive with 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 GB. The phone is likely to boot to One UI 3.1 based Android 11 OS. For photography, the handset could be featuring a 32-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel quad-camera system. The device may land in India with a price tag of Rs 25,000 (~$343).
