HUAWEI P series is the company’s flagship smartphone series for the first half of a year. These devices are usually announced around the time of MWC (Mobile World Congress). But due to the current situation, the next-gen HUAWEI P50 series may come later than its predecessor. Ahead of its official announcement, some details regarding these upcoming handsets have been tipped.
According to a well-known HUAWEI-focussed tipster who goes by the username @RODENT950 on Twitter, the forthcoming HUAWEI P50 series will include three models, just like the last year’s HUAWEI P40 series.
Hence, we can expect the Chinese telecom giant to release the following models.
- HUAWEI P50
- HUAWEI P50 Pro
- HUAWEI P50 Pro+
Further, as per the leaker, the standard P50 will be the new Lite model powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000E SoC. On the other hand, the P50 Pro will be the new standard, whereas the P50 Pro+ will be the new Pro model. Unlike the first device, the latter two phones will feature HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset.
Additionally, he also says that these smartphones will be soon entering mass-production as their design has been finalized. Last but not least, as per him, the HUAWEI P50 series’ USP (Unique Selling Proposition) will be screen quality, new ultra sensing camera system, and gaming capabilities.
