We are less than a day away from witnessing the launch of the Redmi K40 series, and RedmiBook Pro devices in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed that its XiaoAI assistant will be arriving on RedmiBook Pro for the first time.

In a Weibo post, the company said that XiaoAI will debut on the RedmiBook Pro. In case you don’t know, the laptop will debut in China on February 25 i.e, Tomorrow. Anyway, this would be the first time the company’s Smart AI assistant is making its way to Windows machines.

In the past, XiaoAI has made its appearance on Smartphones, Smart TVs, Smartwatches, and Smart speakers. That said, the company in a poster, has teased that the assistant will support voice commands to make our life easier.

The image shows a weather widget displaying the condition of the day. In the window, the “How’s the Weather Today?” command appears prior to the results. Besides, users on Weibo have been asking if it would support & control Mijia devices out of the box.

However, the company hasn’t teased any other info so let’s wait for the official launch tomorrow to know about it. The RedmiBook Pro is likely to feature a metal body and a 2K display with ultra-thin bezels on all sides.

It may come in two sizes like 13 & 15-inches and Silver, Gray colors but one of them won’t have a dedicated numeric keypad. Under the hood, it will host Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake H35 processors. This is said to be paired with GPUs up to Nvidia GeForce MX450.

Other expected features include an NVMe SSD storage, fingerprint scanner, Type-C port with Thunderbolt-4 standard, HDMI port, and support USB-PD charging.
