Chinese tech giant OPPO today took the wraps off two new smartphones – the OPPO F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ 5G in India. The company also unveiled a new fitness band. The OPPO Band Style, as it is called, is the brand’s second wearable device after the OPPO Watch.OPPO Band Style

The OPPO Band Style adopts a stylish rectangular-shaped display design. The screen is a 1.1-inch color AMOLED screen with a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels. There is also a 2.5D curved-surface scratch-resistant glass. Inside, the smart band crams a 100mAh battery which will take just 1.5 hours to fully charge and can last up to 12 days.

The smart band is powered by the Apollo 3 chipset and has 16MB storage, and comes with 40 watch-face designs. It utilises a metal buckle design that makes it easy to adjust the wristband.OPPO Band Style

In terms of functions, the OPPO Band Style arrives with several functions which can be accessed via the HeyTap companion app. The fitness band supports 12 workout modes, a continuous blood-oxygen monitor, real-time heart rate monitor. The workout modes include Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical, Rowing, Cricket, Badminton, Swimming, and Yoga.  Unfortunately, the watch is only compatible with Android OS at the moment. OPPO promised to push a firmware update in April which will bring support for iOS.

The regular features such as sleep tracker, heart rate monitor, make or receive calls via a connected phone are also onboard. Finally, it arrives with a 5 ATM water-resistance rating which means you can’t use it while swimming. OPPO Band Style

As for the price, the OPPO Band Style is priced at Rs 2,999 (~$40) but there is a Rs. 200 discount for purchases made between March 8 and March 23rd, bringing down the price to Rs. 2,799 (~$38). It will be sold via Flipkart, Amazon, and on offline stores across India. The band comes in Black and Vanilla colours.
