As expected, Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched the Moto G30 and the Moto G10 Power in India. The former is the exact same phone that was unveiled for Europe in February. On the other hand, the latter differs from the standard Moto G10 on the basis of battery capacity. Let us take a look at the specs, features, price, and availability of these two smartphones.

The newly released Motorola Moto G30 and Moto G10 Power for India flaunt a 6.5-inch IPS TFT LCD panel with a resolution of  600 x 720 pixels (HD+), 269 PPI, and a dew-drop notch. The display on both these handsets has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an 85% screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, the screen on the Moto G30 supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate.

The duo sport a plastic build and is IP52-certified for splash resistance. The Moto 10 Power measures 165.22 x 75.73 x 9.89mm in dimensions, weighs 200g, and comes in two colors (Aurora Gray, Breeze Blue). Whereas, the Moto G30 weighs 197g, measures 165.22 x 75.73 x 9.14mm in dimensions, and is available in two colors (Dark Pearl, Pastel Sky).

Under the hood, the Moto 10 Power features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC while the Moto G30 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. However, both of them will sport 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with support for MicroSD cards (up to 1TB) via a hybrid SIM card slot.

On the connectivity front, the due comes with dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, carrier aggregation, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo). The Moto G30 also features NFC for contactless payments, which is now possible in India via Google Pay.

Talking about optics, both the phones flaunt a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of an 8MP ultra-wide unit (118° field of view), a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. The primary sensor on the Moto G10 Power is a 48MP shooter, whereas the one on the Moto G30 is a 64MP sensor. Lastly, for selfies and video calls, the former uses an 8MP camera while the latter comes with a 13MP snapper.

Other features of these phones include a near-stock Android 11 operating system, ThinkShiled for Mobile security features, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with Motorola Batwing logo embossed on it, accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, SAR sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, dedicated Google Assistant key, and 20W TurboPower fast charging (charger included in the box).

Last but not least, as the name suggests, the Moto G10 Power is backed by a larger 6,000mAh battery, whereas the Moto G30 gets its juice from a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery.

Motorola will be selling the Moto G10 Power and the Moto G30 for the following price tags in India.

  • Motorola Moto G30 – ₹10,999

Both smartphones are exclusive to Flipkart. The Moto G10 Power will go on sale at 12 PM on March 16. On the other hand, the Moto G30 will be available for purchase the next day (March 17) at the same time.
