ZTE is gearing up to launch the ZTE Axon 30 series of smartphones in China. Recently, it revealed that it is also preparing to launch its first S-series smartphone. Two upcoming 5G-ready ZTE phones that have model number ZTE 9030N and 8030N have received certifications from TENAA and 3C authorities of China. As usual, these certifications have revealed the key details of both phones. Unfortunately, there is no information on the marketing names of these ZTE 9030N and 8030N smartphones.

The ZTE 9030N’s TENAA listing has revealed that it measures 164.8 x 76.4 x 7.9mm. It runs on Android 11 OS and has a 3,890mAh rated battery. Its 3C certification revealed that it could be accompanied by a 30W rapid charger.

The display seems to feature a selfie camera cutout at the top-center position, but its size is not known. The rear image of the phone shows that it has a quad-camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main camera and a square-shaped lens, which could be a telephoto periscope zoom lens. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

On the other side, the ZTE 8030N appears to be an inferior version of the 9030N as it has a similar design and a toned-down camera setup. The 8030N model measures 165.8 x 77 x 9.6mm and it has a 5,860mAh rated battery. The 3C listing of the phone indicates that it may support 18W charging. There is no word on its display size.

The ZTE 8030N also features a side-facing fingerprint reader and it boots to Android 11 OS. Its camera module seems to feature a 48-megapixel main camera, a secondary lens, a telephoto periscope lens, and an LED flash. The camera module of the ZTE 9030N and 8030N differs from the upcoming S-series phone (shown below) that was recently teased by ZTE.
