Yesterday, a tipster from China shared the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO U3x smartphone. A new Vivo phone with model number V2106A was recently spotted at Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and TENAA. It is speculated that this device could be the forthcoming iQOO U3x smartphone.

The TENAA listing reveals that the purported iQOO U3x smartphone has 164.5 x 75.35 x 8.4mm dimensions. It is equipped with a 6.58-inch display with a teardrop notch. A fingerprint scanner can be seen on the right edge of the device.

A squarish camera housing is available on the backside of the Vivo V2016. It seems to be equipped with a dual-camera system and an LED flash. The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 11 OS. It draws power from a 4,910mAh rated battery, which suggests that its typical capacity could be 5,000mAh. The 3C appearance of the smartphone revealed that it may arrive with support for 18W fast charging.

The iQOO U3x is rumored to be a rebadged version of the Vivo Y31s 5G handset, which launched in January in China. It is expected to carry support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate support. For selfies, it may feature a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. The rear camera setup of the phone may feature a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Snapdragon 480 SoC is likely to power the handset with 4 GB / 6B of RAM. It may come with a native storage of 128 GB. It may arrive with an affordable price tag of around 1,000 Yuan (~$154) in China.

In related news, two other Vivo phones with model numbers V2039 and V2050 have appeared in the database of Indonesia TKDN certification. The identities of these models are under wraps.
