POCO has surprised everyone with the pricing of the POCO X3 Pro. The company has launched a flagship killer at a starting early bird price of just 199 euros. Let’s take a look at its price, specs, features, and availability.

POCO X3 Pro Pricing, Availability

POCO has launched two versions of the POCO X3 Pro. You can take a look at the official pricing below:

  • POCO X3 Pro
    • 6GB + 128GB- 249 euros
    • 8GB + 256GB- 299 euros

Although these are official prices, POCO has introduced early bird pricing for both the storage variants. Accordingly, the 6GB RAM variant will be sold for 199 euros while the 8GB version will retail for 249 euros.

The device will be available for pre-booking from Today(March) and for purchase from March 24 across different channels like Amazon, Mi Home, eBay, Shopee, Goboo, and more. The early bird pricing will mostly run through to April 1(POCO hasn’t mentioned this exactly). 

Apart from these stores, the device is also said to be available in many stores in the near future. If that isn’t enough, POCO says that it is giving a 6-month free screen replacement program for the users.

POCO X3 Pro Design and Display

POCO X3 Pro looks very similar to the POCO X3. The company says that it has retained the Croma design on the back. To eliminate the fingerprint smudges, it has also brought a dual texture design that will also aid in ergonomics. The device comes in three colors- Phantom Black, Frost Blue, Metal Bronze.

The device has the same 6.67-inch sized FHD+ IPS LCD DotDisplay on the front with a centered punch hole. This display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 450 nits(manual), 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

POCO says that the POCO X3 Pro also has the DynamicSwitch option for hovering between 60,90, and 120Hz options. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 as confirmed earlier by POCO India. 

POCO X3 Pro performance and camera

The POCO X3 Pro features the newly launched Snapdragon 860 Octa-core chipset, built on a 7nm process, clock frequency up to 2.96GHz, has Adreno 640 GPU. This chipset is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 which is 198% faster than UFS 2.1. Apart from this, the POCO X3 Pro also has expandable storage up to 1TB, and LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus for cooling.

This cooling is a multi-layer graphite cooling with a D5 copper heat pipe buried beneath the chipset. POCO claims that this setup can be effective for up to  6-degrees of cooling.

For cameras, the device has a Quad-camera setup with 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX582 main lens, 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide with a FOV of 119-degrees, 2MP macro sensor(up to 4cm), and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, the device has a 20MP front camera for selfies.

Some of the camera features include Night mode selfies, Video clones, and dual video to capture both front and back camera views at the same time. 

POCO X3 Pro- Other features

Just like the POCO X3, the ‘Pro’ variant also has a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-speakers with Hi-Res Audio certified. As per the DXOMARK Audio review, it gets an overall score of 63 points. Apart from this, the device also has a z-axis linear vibration motor for haptics, NFC, IR Blaster, Headphone jack.

The device packs in a 5,160 mAh battery with 33W fast charging(included in-box), and POCO claims 11 hrs of gaming, claims that it can last for 18hrs of video playback. Other features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and MIUI 12 based on Android 11
