Realme announced the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro smartphone back in September 2020 in China. Today, the company silently unveiled a new X7 series phone called the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition. The new smartphone features a curved edge display with a high refresh rate support, a 64-mgeapixel triple camera system, a decent chipset, and a big battery with fast charging support.

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition measures 7.8mm in thickness and it weighs 170 grams. It is fitted with a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1200nits brightness, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The punch-hole display offers a Full HD+ resolution of 92.1 percent.

For selfies, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera setup of the phone has a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 119-degree FOV, and 2-megapixel a macro camera with a 4cm focal length.

The 7nm Dimensity 1000+ chipset, which fueled the X7 Pro is present under the hood of the X7 Pro Extreme Edition. The phone ships with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. The phone boots to Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS.

For heat dissipation, the X7 Pro Extreme Edition has a VC liquid cooling technology. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, which can fully charge it in just 35 minutes.

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition variants such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB are priced at 2,299 Yuan (~$350) and 2,599 Yuan (~$396), respectively. It comes in two colors such as Castle Sky and Black Clever Forest. The handset is listed for reservations on retailer platforms like Realme China’s online store, JD.com, Tmall, and Suning.
