Vivo has just announced that it would be signing Virat Kohli, a known Indian Cricketer, as its new brand ambassador. The news arrives just prior to IPL 2021, with the company aiming to reach out to more Millenials and prospective customers.

The Chinese tech giant will be following a 360 degree marketing approach with its association with Virat Kohli, as per BusinessInsider. The popular sports icon will now be seen promoting and spreading awareness of Vivo’s upcoming product series and will also include ATL and BTL activities, such as TV campaigns, print, social media, and other promotional events as well.

Nipun Marya, Director-Brand Strategy, Vivo India stated that “We are thrilled to have Virat Kohli on board.
