iQOO has confirmed that it will be announcing the iQOO 7 Legend smartphone this month in India. Ahead of the launch, the company has started releasing teasers to reveal the features of the smartphone. A fresh tweet confirms that the iQOO 7 Legend will arrive with an enhanced version of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The iQOO 7 Legend seems to be the BMW Motorsport-inspired version of the iQOO 7, which debuted in January in China. Gagan Arora who leads the India wing of iQOO has claimed that the smartphone will cost less than Rs 40,000 (~$536. Probably, it could be debuting as the cheapest Snapdragon 888 SoC powered smartphone in the country.

iQOO 7 Legend specifications

The iQOO 7 Legend is likely to sport an AMOLED panel of 6.62 inches. The punch-hole screen may offer FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform is present under the hood of the device. The Geekbench listings of the phone have suggested that it may ship with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The handset is likely to feature up to 256 GB of storage. It was recently seen with an 831K+ score at AnTuTu benchmarks.

The iQOO 7 Legend could be coming with a 4,000mAh battery. It is unclear whether it will support 120W fast charging like its Chinee variant. It may feature a front camera of 16-megapixel and its rear-facing camera island may comprise of a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 13-megapixel telephoto snapper, and a 120-degree 13-megapixel superwide lens.
