Xiaomi has already confirmed the impending launch of the premium Mi 11 Ultra smartphone in India billed to take place on April 23. The Chinese tech giant has now confirmed that it will launch a new ‘X’ Flagship series in India on the same date.
The company didn’t reveal the exact name of the models under the X series but it did tease that the series will offer Xtreme performance, feature Xceptional Display, and Xquisite design. Also, the phones are said to have been customized for India.
Going by previous rumors and confirmation by the Mi India marketing head, the smartphones belong to the Mi 11 series. The models include the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. The models are said to be rebadged Redmi K40/ POCO F3 and Redmi K40 Pro+/Mi 11i respectively.

The models are expected to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset and this falls in line with a recent hint by Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain that the company will launch several phones with Snapdragon 888 in India. The vanilla Mi 11 is also expected to complete the quartet of smartphones that will be launched on that day.

Apart from smartphones, Xiaomi will also release the Mi Band 6 which will launch as Mi Smart Band 6. The Mi Watch Lite is expected to also launch during the same event. This is yet to be confirmed but we expect an official teaser to be released in that regard anytime from now.
