Last month, Realme announced the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro mid-range phones in India. At the unveiling event, the Pro model was announced in two colors such as Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and Illuminating Yellow. At that time, the company claimed that the yellow variant will be made available for purchase later. Realme recently held a launch event in India to announce the arrival of the Realme 8 5G. At the end of the event, the company also confirmed that the Realme 8 Pro’s Illuminating Yellow model will be available for purchase from April 26 in the country.
There is no difference between the Realme 8 Pro Illuminating Yellow edition and the existing variants in terms of specs and design. The back panel of the phone has a yellow paint job, but the area surrounding the camera island is fluorescent and it can absorb light and glow in the dark.
The Realme 8 Pro comes in two options such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Both models are available for purchase in Illuminating Yellow color through Realme India’s online store and Flipkart.
Realme 8 Pro specifications and features
The Realme 8 Pro has a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. a 20:9 aspect ratio, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS comes preinstalled on the smartphone. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 720G chipset and LPDDR4x RAM.
The Realme 8 Pro has 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage, and it has a microSD card slot for more storage. The triple camera system of the phone has a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel B&W lens. It has a 4,500mAhb battery that carries support for 30W fast charging.
