The 2020 Nokia 2.4 is the latest HMD Global smartphone to receive the Android 11 update. The announcement was made on Twitter earlier today and is already rolling out to owners of the phone but in waves.

Android 11 brings new features such as conversation bubbles; app permissions that allow you to grant one-time access to apps; a native screen-recorder; scheduled dark theme; notification history, and more.

According to the Android 11 roadmap released by the manufacturer, the update was originally planned to be released in the first quarter of the year but that didn’t happen.

The Nokia 2.4 has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch that is home to a 5MP selfie camera. It is powered by the Helio P22 processor and is available in 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of expandable storage respectively.

There are two cameras on the back of the phone – a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM radio, and a 4500mAh battery that charges via a MicroUSB port.
