Comming on this expansion, Zhang Xiaoke, OPPO’s overseas sales director, said: “Latin America has a vital position in OPPO’s global business layout, with advanced mobile Internet development and a relatively high penetration rate of smartphones. OPPO is very pleased to be able to enter Chile and Colombia. The market brings innovative and technological achievements to local consumers and partners.”

Zhang Fei, President of OPPO Latin America claims that the company witnessed 1,200% Year-on-Year growth since it entered the Mexican market in 2020. He adds that OPPO is now looking to a long-term future and is aiming to become the leading smartphone brand in the Latin American market.

In Chile, the company has launched OPPO Reno5 Lite and OPPO A15 smartphones as well as OPPO Enco W51 and OPPO Enco W31 true wireless earphones. On the other hand, in Colombia, the company has launched only one device — OPPO A15 but we expect more devices will soon be launched.
