The ASUS ZenFone 8 series is all set to go official on May 12. Reports have revealed that the lineup includes three handsets such as ZenFone 8 Mini, ZenFone 8, and ZenFone 8 Pro. The ZenFone 8 series will not be launching in India on May 12. Hence, the Taiwanese manufacturer is likely to hold a dedicated launch event to announce the ZenFone 8 family. The India launch may of the next generation ZenFone flagships may not be far away as one of the models has appeared in the database of the Bureau of India Standards (BIS).

The final product name of the ASUS_I007D is not known yet. It is believed to be codenamed as VODKA and it is speculated to release in the market as the ZenFone 8 Pro. As far as specs are concerned, the only thing that is known about this device is that it is a flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.

The ASUS_ZS675KW model number is also associated with the alleged ZenFone 8 Pro. Vague reports suggest that it could be sporting an OLED panel. It is unclear whether the device will be featuring a flip-up camera setup like the predecessor ZenFone 8 series.

Currently, ASUS is teasing the arrival of the ZenFone 8 Mini. Reports have claimed that it has a 5.92-inch OLED FHD+ display with a punch-hole design. It is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate. The back panel of the phone could be featuring a dual-camera system with a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel primary camera and a new Sony IMX663 camera as the secondary lens.

It will be arriving as the most compact phone powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device may offer users up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It could be housing a 4,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Also, it will be an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant device.
