A few days back, Mobvoi released the Wear OS H-MR2 update for TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. Now, a couple of weeks later, the company is rolling out a new firmware update for TicWatch Pro 3 LTE. But unfortunately, it isn’t the same update that is available for the GPS variant.

The latest firmware update for TicWatch Pro 3 LTE does not bring Wear OS H-MR2. Instead, it arrives with improvements, optimizations, a couple of new features, and updated security patches.

According to the official changelog (via XDA Developers), this update enables sounds for notifications, adds support for turning off the essential screen’s auto backlight, and brings a new screen brightness layout. The update also optimizes the accuracy of off-body detection and bumps up the security patch level.

Lastly, it comes with improvements for tilt-to-wake screen function, performance of Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100, smoothness of sliding, and pairing speed when pairing with Android smartphones.
